This projected involved not only a 2 story addition to the main house but also modifications to the first floor of the main living space. The original master bedroom on the first floor was reconfigured to remove the center wall of the house and open the room from the front to the back of the house. The master bedroom was contained in the new addition on the end of the house with a master bath suite and a walk in closet. The rear section of the bedroom contained a valuted ceiling with skylights to catch the morning rays. To manage the sun, electric shades were added to the skylights. The second floor over the front half of the addition was finished to provide a closet and play area connected to the children's bedroom on the end of the house. The basement was finished as a crawl space 4 ft high for storage.
